.”Every school needs a circus.” Angus Foley (11) Keynote Speaker at the 2016 Circus Symposium Sydney
When the circus comes to schools students leap out of their comfort zones and into the limelight. Through basing or flying in pyramids, juggling, hooping, and performing, every student gets the chance to participate… and to shine!
Circus programs can align with physical education and drama curriculums, and teacher workshops provide opportunities for teachers to engage in a deeper level with the circus program and try skills for themselves.
In teacher-student skill sharing sessions it is often the students who end up teaching, and their teachers who end up learning new tricks.
